work along both lines! Longji laid out two technical routes for high-efficiency batteries
According to WEEK Photovoltaic News, on February 27, Longji Green Energy disclosed the record sheet of investor relations activities, which mentioned that it is expected that more than 50% of the module shipments will fall on the Chinese market in 2023, and the Ordos battery project will adopt N-TOPcon technology to meet the needs of customers of ground power stations. It is expected that the equipment installation will begin in the third quarter of 2023.
This once again shows Longji’s confidence in China’s photovoltaic market and its strength in battery technology.
As a global photovoltaic leader, Longji has a layout in many technical routes. On June 1, 2021, Longji announced that it would simultaneously break three world records for the conversion efficiency of P-type TOPcon battery, N-type TOPcon battery and HJT battery, and all of them would break the 25% mark.
Since then, Longji has kept improving and repeatedly broken the world record of photovoltaic cell conversion efficiency. On November 24, 2022, Longji Green Energy announced that its HJT cell conversion efficiency reached 26.81%, breaking the world record of photovoltaic cell conversion efficiency for five years, which is also the first time that Chinese enterprises have created the highest conversion efficiency of solar cells.
In terms of mass production of new battery technology, on November 2, 2022, Longji released a new component Hi-MO 6 in Hangzhou. With its original HPBC battery technology, the mass production efficiency of the standard version exceeded 25%, while the efficiency of the PRO version superimposed with hydrogen passivation technology was as high as 25.3%. At the same time, Longji also stressed that Hi-MO 6 is more suitable for distributed photovoltaic scenarios.
In terms of customer demand for ground power stations, Longji still chose N-TOPCon technology. It is expected that the mass production efficiency will also exceed 25%, and the component efficiency will reach about 22.5%.
When most other enterprises choose a technology route for mass production, Longji also mass produced HPBC and N-TOPcon batteries according to different application scenarios of centralized and distributed photovoltaic, in order to better meet the needs of different users, and once again demonstrated its leading advantages in battery technology.
